While visiting one of my best friends down south, we did a little photo shoot of her family. My first indoor, “lifestyle” shoot. We wanted the pictures to just reflect their home and family and the life they live. We’re pretty happy with how they turned out. Here are the favorites:
Lance || Senior ’11
Chalk it up as the longest senior session of all time. We started shooting on our vacation this past summer and finished them up this fall while the leaves were still pretty. Sooo many pictures to go through – but they are all finished. Can’t believe that the baby of the family is old enough for his senior pictures! We’re pretty happy with how they turned out.

Armstrong || Family Session
So happy to get some family shots in of some of my favorites, the Armstrongs! New baby H. is the sweetest and, though he wouldn’t wake up for our session, we got a few shots in of him.
Here are the favorites!
Murphy || Family Session
Kerry and Shannon are getting ready to begin the adoption process and wanted some pictures that showed their personalities to send to their agency. This is such an exciting time for them and it was so much fun to take these important pictures. Thanks for letting me play a small part in this process. So excited for you!

Lyngdoh || Family Portraits
My friend Stephanie and her husband were in town visiting and so we headed over to the Anderson University campus for a quick family session. She has such great kids and we had a good time getting them to cooperate (special thanks to the grandparents that went with us!). Between them, Stephanie and her husband have about 4 languages that they use on a regular basis, so we were entertaining the kids with combinations of all four languages. Thanks for a fun, late summer shoot, friends!
Here are the favorites from this session:
Lance and Kaley || Prom 2010
My cousin Lance recently went to his first prom with his girlfriend Kaley. It included all of the “hoop-la” that goes into a first prom, including a rented car and….lots of pictures. So here goes:

Sarah || Maternity
My friend Sarah, a regular on this blog, is pregnant with her second kiddo. We braved the snow yesterday for some maternity pictures. Though the snow was up to our knees and we were completely frozen, I think it was worth it. Here are the favorites:

Jenny & Bob || Engaged
My recently engaged roommate and her fiancé and I went out last saturday to do their engagement pictures. Bob is the cousin of a very good friend of ours from seminary. He and Jenny met when she was working for the summer in his hometown in India. Bob picked Jenny up from the airport in Kolkata (Calcutta) and gave her a tour around the city before she was off to his hometown in Shillong. Their summer was spent hanging out on the weekends and getting to know each other. By the end of the summer, they were dating and Jenny was on her way back to the States. A year later, Bob moved to Indiana to also go to seminary and the rest…is history…
